OPEN DAILY THROUGHOUT THE FESTIVAL: 5th- 15th September 10am - 3.30pm (closed Sundays) Following last year's success, we are featuring another outstanding Victorian textile artist. Sonja Else is widely acclaimed and accomplished, having had many exhibitions and articles in quilting magazines.

About the event
Following on from last year's success, we are featuring another outstanding Victorian textile artist. Sonja Else is widely acclaimed and accomplished, with many exhibitions and articles in quilting magazines.
Sonja designs patterns and enjoys the creative process of making a quilt that is visually amazing. Come and view a sample of her quilting work.
Visitors to our studio will be able to view the Bigger Bloom quilt, which was used to demonstrate the Gammill's abilities last year. The purpose-built studio has two state-of-the-art Gammill Optimum Statler machines.
These American-built precision machines are 4.2 and 3.5 metres long. Come and see these amazing machines operating.
During your visit to the studio, you can participate in making a quilt block to go into our community fundraising quilt.
