VISUAL ART & PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION 2024
Calling all artists to unleash their creativity and be part of an extraordinary celebration of art!
With a diverse range of categories, there’s an opportunity for artists of all backgrounds and styles to shine.
The coveted title of Overall Winner with a Daffodil Theme awaits the artist who skilfully captures the essence of these beautiful flowers, and the generous prize of $1000 adds even more excitement to the mix.
WHO CAN ENTER?
Watercolour enthusiasts can showcase their mastery in the Esther Rose Memorial Watercolour prize, while oil and acrylic artists have their chance to impress in the Oil and Acrylic Art categories with a tempting prize of $250 for each category.
For those who prefer to explore different mediums or sculptural forms, the Works on Paper and Any Other Medium/Sculpture prizes of $250 each are the perfect platform to showcase your unique vision.
Photographers won’t be left behind, as the Photography Prize calls for captivating images that tell a story, with a prize of $250 awaiting the winner.

This incredible event is proudly supported by The Old Auction House, ensuring a showcase of exceptional artistry and a chance to connect with a vibrant artistic community. Works will be exhibited during The Kyneton Daffodil & Arts Festival at The Old Auction House, 52-56 Mollison St, Kyneton from Thursday 5th September until Monday 16th September 2024 (inclusive).
The announcement and presentation of the Prize Winners will be made during the Festival Opening at The Old Auction House, Thursday 5th September from 7.30 pm. Entrants are warmly invited to the opening event.

Entry fee for all entries is $10 – Closing date for registration is August 25 at 5pm, no late entries.
Entry is open to artists over the age of 16.
All entries that are Daffodil Themed will be automatically entered for the Main Prize Category.
