Kyneton Daffodil Art Prize 2025
Join in the Kyneton Daffodil & arts Festival Art Prize in 2025
The Kyneton Daffodil Art Prize has a $1,000 Prize for the Overall Winner for a piece including a Daffodil, as well as $250 prizes for the winners of each category. Pieces do not need to include a daffodil to be eligible for category prizes and all pieces with a daffodil are automatically entered into the overall prize category.
The Art Prize Exhibition is held for the duration of the festival and prizes are presented at the Festival Opening.
WHO CAN ENTER?
Entry is open to all Australian Artists aged 16+ and works can be both 2D or 3D with a maximum of four pieces per artist.
The festival is so fortunate to have had Ken Rose sponsor the Esther Rose Memorial Watercolour Prize for many years in celebration of his lovely wife, who was a talented watercolour artist.
The Prize Categories are Esther Rose Watercolour, Oil Painting, Acrylic Painting, Works on Paper, Photography, and Other Medium / Sculpture, each piece can be entered into one category.
THE EXHIBITION
This annual Art Prize is hosted by The Old Auction House, 52-56 Mollison Street Kyneton, for the duration of the Kyneton Daffodil & Arts Festival.
In 2025 this is Friday the 5th of September until Monday the 15th of September, from 10am to 4pm daily.
The announcement and presentation of the Prize Winners will be made during the Festival Opening at The Old Auction House, Friday 5th September from 7.30 pm. All entrants are warmly invited to the opening event.
